Leisureland is across the city at Salthill (5 minutes drive). It has a large heated indoor swimming pool and slide, recreational and amusement area,conference facilities, concert and exhibition hall.
Galway’s 18 hole Golf Club is 2.5 miles away, also a modern driving range.
Lessons are available and golf clubs can be hired. The Tennis Club, with squash and badminton is also about 2 miles from here.
The Sailing club grows in popularity – lessons available.
The Motor Club has a yearly rally with smaller events during the year. Boats can be hired on the beautiful Lough Corrib for fishing and pleasure trips.

Galway City is an old and romantic city. The streets are narrow and crowded, but as one native remarked, “Who wants to rush through Galway Anyway!”
